Mike Wilson, President & Managing Funeral Director

Michael was born and raised in Timmins, Ontario and is the youngest of 5 children of late John and Marion Wilson also of Timmins. He graduated High School from T.H. &V.S. and later graduated from the Funeral Service Education Program of Humber College in 1984.

He is an avid pilot who is also active in the local chapter of the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association and also the Experimental Aviation Association which organizes Young Eagles Days in Timmins and surrounding areas.

Michael has been involved in several community organizations including the Timmins Rotary Club.

He and his wife Tina (nee St. Jean) are the proud parents of their three children.

Anne Hartling, Funeral Director

Anne was born and raised in Earlton, Ontario. She graduated from Ecole Secondaire Saint-Marie in 1998. She then attended Collège Boréal in Sudbury and graduated with honors in 2000. Anne obtained her funeral director's license in 2002. She gained valuable experience working in funeral homes in New Liskeard and Kirkland Lake. She has been with our team since 2000 and is a great asset to our firm. She enjoys playing softball as well as women’s volleyball. Anne is the proud mother of her two children Kyle and Sophie.

Serge McLean, Funeral Director

Serge was born and raised in New Liskeard, Ontario, He graduated from Ecole Secondaire Saint-Marie in 2004. He attended Collège Boréal in Sudbury and subsequently performed his "in-service" training with Miron-Wilson prior to graduating with honors in 2006 to obtain his funeral director's license. Serge also gained valuable experience working in his hometown before joining our firm in March 2008, and feels privileged to serve the families of the area. Serge is compassionate and receives high praise from the families that he has served. We feel very fortunate to have him as part of our team. Serge and his wife Vanessa are proud parents of their daughters Alivia and Ila.

Chet Hartling, Funeral Director

Chet was born and raised in Schumacher, Ontario. He graduated from Ecole Secondaire Theriault and later obtained his funeral director's licence in 1998. His career in funeral service started in Midland, Ontario before returning to Timmins in 1999. Chet has been a volunteer firefighter with the Schumacher Fire Department since 1999. He also volunteers his time as a coach for his kids sports teams in both hockey and baseball. He is the proud father of his two children Kyle and Sophie.

Jenny Bélanger, Funeral Director

Jenny was born and raised in Timmins, Ontario. She graduated from École Secondaire Catholique Thériault in 2003. Spent 13 years in the banking industry prior to her change in career. Jenny attended Collège Boréal in Sudbury and subsequently performed her "in-service" training with Miron-Wilson prior to graduating in 2018 and obtained her funeral director's license as a second career. She takes great pride in helping the families of her hometown. Jenny and her husband Luc are proud parents of their daughter Danielle. During the summer months they enjoy spending time camping.
