The family announces with great sorrow his unexpected passing at home on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Loving and caring son of Josephine Demers (nee Foisy) and dear brother of Leo Demers (Joan) of Huntsville, Pauline Desjardins (late Jean-Claude Desjardins & special friend Ben Comisso) of Timmins, Donald Demers (Brenda) of Whitehorse, Gisele Dagenais (Andre) of Timmins, Roger Demers (late Denise) of Timmins and Yvon Demers (Sue) of Timmins. Con will also be missed by his dear friend Claire Jordan, many nieces and nephews, especially nephew Guy Demers. Predeceased by his wife of 28 years Mary-Lynne Demers (nee Carmichael), his father Paul-Emile Demers. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (Fr. Simon Drapeau officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to Diabetes Canada or to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated. Fils bien-aimé et adoré de Josephine Demers (née Foisy), cher frère de Léo Demers (Joan) de Huntsville, Pauline Desjardins (feu Jean-Claude Desjardins et ami Ben Comisso) de Timmins, Donald Demers (Brenda) de Whitehorse, Gisèle Dagenais (André) de Timmins, Roger Demers (feue Denise) de Timmins et Yvon Demers (Sue) de Timmins. Con sera également manqué par sa chère amie Claire Jordan, plusieurs nièces et neveux, en particulier son neveu Guy Demers. Prédécédé par son épouse de 28 ans Mary-Lynne Demers (née Carmichael) et son père Paul-Emile Demers. Le service des funérailles aura lieu le samedi 20 mai à 12h en la chapelle du Salon funéraire Miron-Wilson (Père Simon Drapeau officiant.) Un goûté suivra le service dans la salle de réception du Miron-Wilson. Les dons commémoratifs à Diabete Canada ou à la Foundation des maladies du cœur et de l’AVC seront grandement appréciés.
